The event is part of activities to attract more visitors to the province. On display at the three-day event in Intourco Resort and Paradies beach are more than 200 kites made by 120 artisans from 20 nations and territories.   

The highlight of the festival is show of kites from different nations scheduled for April 9.

Vuong Quoc Hai, deputy director of Khang Linh Company, the main sponsor of the festival said that the cultural event will help boost socio-economic development in the province.  

 Vietnam’s most traditional and beautiful kites will be selected for a similar event to be held in France next year.
