Int’l artists featured at 6th Hanoi Sound Stuff Fest
(VOV) -As many as 14 musicians from eight countries will entertain audiences with an exciting combination of electronic sound and light at the 2013 Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival from March 30-April 13.
The organizing board will work closely with universities in Hanoi and the Goethe Institute to hold short-term training courses for artists and musical students.
This year’s event will also feature fundraising activities to collect money for blind children at the Nguyen Dinh Chieu School.
The festival’s director, Tri Minh, said electronic music is a popular and innovative genre around the world that has made remarkable breakthroughs in new ways of expression and easily combines with other genres such as folk, classical and contemporary music.
The annual event, which debuted in 2008, also features video art exhibitions.
