The festival drew 97 professional parachutists, who are members of the International Parachuting Commission, from Vietnam and another 15 countries world wide.

At the opening ceremony, the city dwellers and visitors eyed the first jump conducted by 20 parachutists.

The week-long festival, co-organised by the provincial People’s Committee, the International Parachuting Commission and Vung Tau International Tourism Company, had been warmed up with trial jumps and charitable musical performances since February 22.
