Indochina’s heritage on show in Hanoi

(VOV) - The heritage of the three Indochinese countries Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, will be exhibited at 9 museums as part of activities marking forty years since the signing of the World Heritage Convention (1972–2012).

The displays will include a celebration of Thang Long dragon depictions, the region’s natural beauty, ancient artifacts,  and examples of what cooperation between the three countries has achieved.

Dr. Nguyen Van Son, Director of the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre, said the exhibition provides an overview of the nature, arts, and history of world cultural heritage recognition in Indochinese countries.

It hopes to raise general awareness of heritage conservation and honour its motivating values, he added.

The Vietnamese iteration of the exhibition can be seen at 18 Hoang Dieu St in Hanoi, and it  will run until the end of next year.
