Mansingh who established the Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD) in 1977 in Dehli, has helped trained four generations of dancers in the Bharathanatyam and Odissi dancing styles, Yoga, music and traditional culture. 

As a cultural activist she compiled many training programmes and published many books on social and cultural issues.
