India’s Pratibha Kala Kender art troupe will bring their Charkula folk dance from the Braj region to Vietnamese audiences during their tour to Vietnam from October 9-13.

The troupe will perform at the Hanoi and Hai Phong Opera Houses and the UN International School to mark the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-India diplomatic ties.

Since its establishment in 1997, the art troupe has preserved and developed Charkula dance and other folk dances from the Braj region of northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state.
