The Hung Kings Festival will be held at the Suoi Tien Tourist Spot in Ho Chi Minh City on April 8, under the theme “Hung Kings journey back to legendary lands”.
The announcement was made by deputy director general of Suoi Tien Culture and Tourism Company Doan Minh Tuan on April 4.
The festival is expected to attract 36 troupes representing minority groups across the country and around 5,000 visitors. It will feature performances recalling the great history of Vietnam and highlighting the national renewal process such as “Following Trung Sisters and Lady Trieu”, “Offering to the Kings”, “The Heavenly King of Phu Dong (Phu Dong Thien Vuong)”, “Thousand-year old Viet Land”, and “Ho Chi Minh generations”.
On the occasion, the resort will offer the Hung Kings 4,000 Chung cakes, representing 4,000 years of history.
