According to Nguyen Duy Hien, Director of the Hue Festival Centre, preparations for the festival already started in 2007.

The city has spent VND20 billion upgrading 8,000 standard rooms, including five-star hotel rooms.

The Hue Festival Centre has worked with domestic artists and foreign experts to ensure the success of artistic performances. To date, art troupes from 20 Asian, European, American and Australian countries have registered to join the festival.
