The Centre for Preserving Relics of the former imperial city of Hue will establish a section to store Vietnamese royal refined music documents, according to centre’s director Phung Phu.

In the first step, the centre will focus on classifying documents, making copies of them, and translating foreign- or Nom-language documents into Vietnamese. In addition, it will collect and buy related documentaries, music records and ancient documents on music notation with the aim of creating a database of refined Hue music.
