A traditional house on stilts of the Tay ethnic minority group in Bich Chu village, northern Vinh Phuc province will be exhibited at Bavaria National Park in Germany during an international festival organized by the UNESCO in July.

Mainly designed by Phung Van Dich, a craftsman from the Tay ethnic minority group, the house will be transferred to Germany in late February to be displayed in public for the first time.

The international festival is expected to draw the participation of different cultures, including Chile, the US, Mongolia, Benin, Venezuela and Vietnam. During the festival, international guests will have chance to stay in the house on stilts and study Vietnamese culture.

According to Do Dinh Tien, director of the Tam Dao National Park, the exhibition of Vietnamese house on stilts in Germany will be another proof of Vietnam’s good relations with other countries, including Germany.
