The cast of a bronze statue of President Ho Chi Minh has just been finalised before it will be on show in Mongolia’s capital city of Ulan Bator, said the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The art council will examine the statue to ensure its design and quality on August 6 prior to its departure for the North Asian nation, the Ministry affirmed.
The 1.1 metre high statue, placed on a 3m-high pedestal, is designed by sculptor Tran Van Lam.
According to the Ministry, many documents and objects related to late President Ho Chi Minh as well as to the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Mongolia, will also be on display at Mongolia’s high school number 14, named after President Ho Chi Minh.
