The Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK), the Korea-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Daewoo construction company held an exhibition of several calligraphy works from late president Ho Chi Minh's Prison Diary, in Seoul from January 4-18.

At the opening ceremony, a film made by the RoK’s television company MBC reviewed the revolutionary life and ideas of the late president as well as Vietnam’s glorious victories during the wars of resistance against French and US aggressors.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK, Pham Tien Van, expressed his hope that Vietnam and the RoK will continue to strengthen their strategic partnership. He said cultural activities will help the Korean people to find out more about Vietnam’s land and its people as well as the country’s traditional culture and unique identity.
