The contest aims to promote Vietnamese heritage and raise public awareness of the need to preserve cultural and natural values of heritage in Vietnam.

Entries are required to illustrate the Vietnamese nature, land and people, as well as to tell stories about heritage in pictures.

Both Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 18 + can take part in the contest.

The entries are color or black & white photos, and the number is unlimited.

The organizing board will choose the most impressive photos for display in many places across the country from October 24 to late November 2012. The awards ceremony will be held in HCM City on December 22.

The deadline for the entries is October 1. Photographers can send their works to the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association office at No.2 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1, HCM City or via email: vietnamdisan@gmail.com.
