A festival will be organised at the Van Thanh Tourism Resort, Ho Chi Minh City, on July 8 and 9 to introduce special kinds of wine from southern France.
This is a special festival, the first of its kind in Vietnam, which aims to honour wine - a gift from nature, said Cao Lap, Director of the Binh Quoi Tourism Village.
The festival, co-organised by the Saigon Tourism Corporation (Saigontourist) and the Languedo-Roussillon Council in France, will introduce special kinds of wine from southern France such as Berlou, Beziers, Fontignan and Limoux.
Visitors will learn how to enjoy wine as connoisseurs and to enjoy France-Vietnam popular cuisine.
Many other cultural activities will be held during the festival, including a France-Vietnam cultural exchange with folk artistic performances with the participation of French artists.
