A 30-ha natural historical museum will be built in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, according to an international seminar held by HCM City People's Committee and the on September 13.
The museum will showcase objects reflecting the natural history of the southern central and southern provinces, especially HCM City.
About 5 million objects and samples collected from the nature will be displayed on a 9,000-m2 area.
When completed, the museum will be a special cultural and scientific centre as well as a major research centre of the city and the region.
