The beautiful singing voice of 53 members of the Australian Girls Choir (AGC) is expected to dazzle Hanoians during their performances in Vietnam from October 6-10 to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment Vietnam-Australia diplomatic relations.

Apart from performances in the Khan Quang Do (Red Scarf) Theatre and the Hanoi Children’s Palace, the Australian girls will participate in some exchange activities at the United Nations International School (UNIS) watch a water puppet show, and visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi and Ha Long Bay in northern Quang Ninh province.

As part of the AGC tour of Ireland, Scotland, the UK and Vietnam, this is the second time the choir has performed in Hanoi since their first visit to the capital city four years ago.

Established in 1984 with 150 first members, AGC is the most dynamic children’s choir in Australia. Today, the choir has expanded to include over 3,500 girls from across the country.
