The festival, organised by the Vietnam Circus Federation and the Vietnam Circus Union under the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, will see 20 outstanding magic circus acts compete with different kinds of performances.

Vu Ngoan Hop, head of the organising board of the festival said the festival is aimed at finding talented performers in the field so that there will be more and more interesting magic circus acts for audiences in future. The five-night festival also offers an opportunity for magicians to improve their professional skills.

The organising board will present one gold, two silver and three bronze prizes to outstanding artists on the final night. The board added that the festival will be held every two years from now on, to meet the demands of both local and international audiences.
