The event will attract the participation of 40 foreign and 100 Vietnamese artists, according to the Performing Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on the evening of May 24.

Four foreign works will be performed by art troupes from Laos, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Sweden.
