Smart Travel Asia Magazine, a leading online travel magazine in the region, announced this in a publication.

These cities meets the criteria of selection, including the best holiday location, best purchasing and city business, and the best hotels, restaurants and airline firms.

This is a rare published endorsement for the capital to attract more foreign visitors for the 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, said the Vietnam General Department of Tourism.

Several Vietnamese spas and hotels were also ranked by the online publication as Asia’s top travel addresses in this annual selection.
