Vietnam should renew tertiary education to meet regional and international standards after the country joined the WTO, said Deputy PM Pham Gia Kiem at an international forum in Hanoi on December 11.

Vietnam’s tertiary education need improving substantially with a focus on teaching methodologies while keeping its own characteristics in the context of global competition,” said Mr Khiem.

 

The Deputy PM said the success of tertiary education will help solve national issues concerning education and bring about a new vision for WTO admission.

 

During the two-day forum, delegates will discuss opportunities challenges, the government’s role and priority to tertiary education.
