Over 300 documents, photos and objects that reflect President Ho Chi Minh’s role in Vietnam-China relationship have been showcased at an exhibition that opened at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi, on May 15.

The “Ho Chi Minh and China” exhibition is split into three distinct periods, “President Ho Chi Minh - the founder of the Vietnam-China friendship (1890-1945)”, “President Ho Chi Minh and the Chinese people in Vietnam's struggle for independence and national construction (1945-1969)” and "The parties and people of Vietnam and China building their friendly relationship”.

The documents, photos and objects were collected from Vietnamese and Chinese archive departments, with many of them made public for the first time.

The month-long exhibition is organised by the Records and Archives Department, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the General Archives Department of China, aiming to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 117th birthday.
