The two-day fair, organised by Reed Tradex, which is based in Thailand and Indochina, and partly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Training, will open on December 3. According to the deputy managing director of Reed Tradex Vietnam, Chainarong Limpkittisin, Vietnam will need to invest heavily in education if the country is to meet its target of having 200 universities by 2010 and 450 by 2020.
Since 2006, 30 new universities, both State and privately owned, have opened in Vietnam. The exhibition will have six zones – Digital Printing, Hardware and Software, Vocational Products Training and Vocational Curriculum, Multimedia Technology, Printed and Published Products and School Materials.
Among the main exhibitors will be firms from China, Germany, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
