Hanoi exhibition showcases war memorabilia

VOV.VN - More than 400 photographs, objects and documents on the Vietnam War are displayed at an exhibition opened in Hanoi on April 26 to mark the 41st anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30).

Former Deputy Minister of Defence, Colonel General Nguyen Huy Hieu attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition at Vietnam Military History Museum.

The exhibits include photographs taken by AP reporters.


Pictures and objects of Vietnamese soldiers returned by US military personnel involved in the Vietnam war.



Photos showing the normalization and development of US-Vietnam relations after the war.


Lan Anh, a student from the Academy of Journalism and Communication, said the exhibition is very helpful to her and her colleagues in their studies.

Lieutenant General Khuat Duy Tien shared his gratitudes to his comrades in arms who laid down their lives for the country.
