Ha Thanh clinches gymnastics silver medal
(VOV) - Nguyen Ha Thanh bagged a silver medal for Vietnam at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup which was wrapped up in France on March 18.
The Vietnamese representative pocketed 13,666 points after two attempts in the men's vault.
Republic of Korean Hak Seon-yang, the defending Olympic champion, took gold with 14,500 points while Marek Lyzczarz of Poland came in third with 12,766 points.
After France, Thanh will fly to Cottbus City in Germany for the FIG Challenger Cup on March 22-24.
