The film, co-produced by the Phuoc Sang Studio, Viet Studio and Anh Viet Co., features the ups and downs of a Vietnamese family making Ha Dong silk dresses during the two resistance wars against foreign aggression.

Another film Ao Lua Ha Dong was also sent to the festival apart from a fashion show of Vietnam’s traditional Ao Dai (long dress) to be held in Busan on this occasion.

Judging from the entries, chief organiser of the festival Kim Dong Ho said film experts should pay more attention to films produced in Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
