The team includes Phan Thi Ha Thanh and Pham Phuoc Hung – both high-flying gymnasts who won tickets to compete at the London Olympics in July. Do Thi Ngan Thuong, who has also received an Olympic card, will not compete in the seven-day Word Cup as she is suffering from an ankle injury. 

The tournament held by the World Gymnastics Federation attracts leading teams form around the world. It will give Vietnamese gymnasts a chance to hone their skills in preparation for London.
