The Rom Vang, a gift shop in Hanoi, was bustling with customers, who were seeking unique and special gifts on the special occasion.

For young customers, handmade toys, bracelets and necklaces seem to be all the rage, said Thu Hang, Rom Vang shop’s owner.

Men usually choose jewellery and cosmetics for their women. Meanwhile, in the chilly weather, women prefer wool gloves and scarves for their men, she added.
