The 2012 German Film Festival will start in Vietnam this September following its overwhelming success in 2010 and 2011 which attracted nearly 30,000 viewers.
Running from September 6 to October 4, the Goethe Institute will show the hottest new films in Hanoi, Haiphong, Hue, Danang, Ho Chi MInh City and Nha Trang.
The selected films cover social themes such as family, love, passion, friendship and responsibility. The stories from various renowned German directors are full of humor, happiness and everyday life.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to take part in quizes and win prizes as part of the screenings.
In Hanoi, curtains will be raised at the National Cinema Centre from September 6-13. Free tickets are available at the Goethe Institute on 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in Hanoi.
