The Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation (VCF) Vu Ngoan Hop, said that, circus troupes from Hanoi and HCM City will join the gala, to be held by the VCF to preserve and promote circus arts.

On April 17, the VCF will organise a special programme to mark the First World Circus Day, Hop said, adding that the Day will also be celebrated in Canada, South Africa, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, India and Japan.

The VCF is busy preparing for the International Circus Festival slated for August 6-11 in Vietnam to mark the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
