More than 100 photos selected from thousands on late Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh by a French photographer are being displayed at an exhibition opened in Hanoi on May 17.

At the month-long exhibition, entitled "Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam-France Friendship", Dominique de Miscault is displaying her photos on three main topics, namely "Vietnam's and Ho Chi Minh's vestiges in France", "Vietnam-France Friendship" and "Images of the land and people of Vietnam through French eyes".

The event is part of a series of activities to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 116th birthday (May 19).

De Miscault, editor-in-chief of the Perspectives Magazine of the France-Vietnam Friendship Association, is also known as an activist who has spared no effort to support the Vietnamese people.

In 2005, she was presented with the medal "For Development of the Vietnamese Press".
