The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in coordination with the French Embassy in Vietnam has presented 30 scholarships to students who achieved high results at the university entrance examination in 2007.

At a ceremony in Hanoi on November 9, Nguyen Ngoc Hung deputy head of the International Department of the MoET, said the scholarships given by the French Government are worth 500 euro each. Beneficiaries gained 21.5 to 29 marks at the university entrance examinations.

Every year, the French Government grants around 75 scholarships worth 1.7 million euro for Vietnamese students to study for Ph.D and MA degrees in France.
