Four players to attend 2013 Fed Cup qualifier
(VOV) -The four female Vietnamese tennis players Dai Trang, Ngoc Van, Phi Khanh, and Tam Hao will contest the 2013 Fed Cup qualifying round in Kazakhstan from Feb 4–10.
They will compete as part of the Asia/Oceania Group II, joining ten other countries including Kazakhstan, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, and Turkmenistan.
The competition, launched in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), is the premier team event in women's tennis. It was known as the Federation Cup until 1995.
