Vietnamese archaeologists have discovered four pairs of lion reliefs, carved on first-floorwalls in four different, lively postures, at the Binh Lam Tower in the southern-central province of Binh Thuan.
These lion reliefs are believed to be the best-preserved and finest-quality tower-engraving arts that remain so far in Champa architecture in Binh Dinh province.
Binh Lam Tower is considered as the typical architecture of the transitional stage from My Son A1 style to Binh Dinh style in the first half of the 11th century.
