The artisans excel in remembering and singing the epics of Kon Tum province, especially the world’s two longest epics of Ba Na and Xe Dang ethnic minority groups.

The artisans are A Pet and A Luu from the Ba Na group and A Ar from Xe Dang group. They are the first artisans in Kon Tum province to receive the titles.

Meanwhile, an elderly person from the Ba Na group also in Kon Tum province received the “Folk Artisan” title.

The 71 year-old man, Dinh Vieu, has instructed young people in the province to sing folk songs and play gongs in recent years. In addition, he has also taught them how to sculpt statues and make Rong communal houses, as well as traditional musical instruments.
