Four ASEAN countries host cultural exchange programme
(VOV) -Nearly 1,000 artists from 17 art troupes, including those from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar are joining a week-long cultural exchange programme in the central province of Quang Tri.
At the opening ceremony on August 12, the Theater of Vietnam Music, Dance and Song hosted a show in praise of the Party, late President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnamese people in the Doi Moi (renewal) process.
Initiated by the Green Road No.9 Cultural Festival, the exchange programme is annually held in Quang Tri as a tribute to war martyrs in the locality.
It provides a good chance for artists to exchange valuable experiences in art creativeness and strengthen cultural ties within the ASEAN block.
