Several foreign musicians, artists and experts will come to help Vietnam build art performance programmes in the early months of this year, according to the Ministry of Culture and Information.

The ministry said that a group from the Bangkok Opera Theatre of Thailand will coordinate with the Vietnam Music, Dance and Opera Theatre to stage a classical opera named "Lucretia" for the public in early March.

The Vietnam Music, Dance and Opera Theatre will also join artists from Switzerland and Japan in staging symphony works in March.

Earlier on January 27, two Israeli pianists came to Vietnam to help the Hanoi Conservatoire develop a symphony programme.
