According to the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ford Foundation helped Vietnam develop textbooks for arts and cultural management training courses and boost human resource development in order to promote cultural activities nationwide. The foundation also funded several projects on preserving cultural heritage and developing art performances.

Ford Foundation-funded projects have actively contributed to raising the capacity of arts and cultural managers and lecturers, as well as preserving Vietnam’s tangible and intangible cultural values.
