To illustrate the process, they traveled to Britain, France and the US, where Ho Chi Minh had stayed, and interviewed historians, politicians, cultural activists and other people who met the president during his journey.
For director Nguyen Anh Tuan from the Vietnam Cinematography Association, the interviewees’ views and assessments will add objective scientific and historical weight to the documentary about Ho Chi Minh's thoughts.
The film, planned to last 90 minutes, will focus on highlighting the late president's perspective on national construction and development, including the on-going renovation process.
It is scheduled to be screened on National Day (September 2) and the 38th commemoration of the president's death, as part of a campaign to encourage people, especially the young, to follow the President's moral example.
