The central coastal province of Ninh Thuan launched its first festival on August 15 to celebrate its kaleidescope of ethnic groups and traditional products, including lamb and grape wine.

The festival highlights the province’s traditional cultural values, which are closely associated with the ancient customs of the Rac Lay, Cham and Kinh ethnic groups.

During the event, ethnic groups’ artists will play traditional musical instruments and the province will also introduce traditional food and wine, including local lamb-based dishes and grape wine technically made by a brewer from the UK.

Traditional products, including brocades, embroidery and fish sauce will be on display at a fair on the sidelines of the festival that runs until August 20.
