Accordingly, Hanoi will organise impressive firework displays at the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarter and the Hanoi Post Office around the Hoan Kiem (Restored Sword) Lake.

The remaining places are Gia Lam Botanical Garden, Den Lu new urban area, the Dong Anh Stadium, Ngoc Khanh and West Lakes and the My Dinh National Stadium.

In HCM City, there will be four locations for fireworks displaying, namely the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Nha Rong Wharf), Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, Phu Tho Sport Competition House in District 10 and the District 8 Sport Centre. The fireworks displays will begin at midnight on January 28, 2006 and run for 15 minutes.
