Those contestants have been selected from 8 countries such as Vietnam, the US, Belgium, Russia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany and Australia after defeating nearly 1,000 other candidates in qualifying and semi-final rounds to enter the final round.

Since August 5, they have gathered in Vinpearl Land to take part in short-term training courses, including make-up, behaviour, social and cultural awareness.    

On August 11, they cycled on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City and cleaned up the beach in response to ‘For Vietnam’s green beach’ programme.

In the following days, they will take part in sports, talent, fashion and sea beauty competitions.

The final round will be held in Vinpearl Land at 8pm on August 21 and broadcast live on VTV3 and VTV4 channels.

The beauty contest is expected to encourage domestic and overseas Vietnamese communities to uphold the values of solidarity and beauty, and promote the country’s images to the world.
