A film week will be held from July 25 to August 1 to mark the 60th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

This is one of the big events to be organised by the Ministry of Culture and Information to highlight the nation’s revolutionary tradition and show deep gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for national independence.

A series of new Vietnamese documentary and feature films will be screened during the week. They include “Bai ca tren dinh Ta Lung” (Songs on the top of Ta Lung), “Buc tuong dai vinh cuu” (The Immortal Monument), “Loi nhan gui” (A Message), “Mot ban tay hai cuoc doi” (One Hand – Two Lives), “Mua thu khong co don” (An Autumn without Loneliness), “Chop mat cung so phan” (Winking at Fate) and “Vang trang cua dat” (The Earth’s Moon).
