The week will feature seven films on various aspects of international migration such as children trafficking, getting married to foreigners, and immigrant labourers.

On the occasion, UNFPA will announce a publication on teenagers' migrations and a report on the world population situation in 2006 entitled "A Passage to Hope: Women and International Migrations".
