The film show is one of the activities launched by the cinematography industry in conjunction with other arts organisations to promote national festivals this year.

At the opening ceremony, the organising board showed films on Uncle Ho’s early years. Other films will be introduced to audiences nationwide over the next few days.

Lai Van Sinh, Head of the Department of Cinematography, said in addition to some new productions, Fafilm Vietnam will continue to issue several Vietnamese feature films about late President Ho Chi Minh and the national revolutions.

The film show will continue through May 20.
