Manuel D. Baldemor, a well-known Filipino painter, has impressively depicted his great experience in Vietnam with 97 paintings on show at the Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi on July 12.

The exhibition vividly portrays the land and people of Vietnam, which absorbed Baldemor immediately as he first arrived in Hanoi on a beautiful spring day, said the painter.

On this occasion, Baldemor presented the Vietnam Fine Art Museum with a picture titled "My country's image" - the only one that depicts the Philippines at the show.

Baldemor is also famous in the Filipino art circles as a sculptor, a writer and an illustrator of novels. He has held a number of one-man exhibitions in his native country, as well as in major cities in the world, including Seoul, Beijing, Cairo, Vienna, Moscow and New York. His pictures are printed on UNICEF seasonal greeting cards, which are published worldwide.

The exhibition will last until July 19.
