More than 600 artisans, artists and athletes representing villages in the region, namely Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Lam Dong, and Ho Chi Minh City, participated in the opening ceremony.

A wide range of activities, including exhibitions of cultural and craft items, traditional art and costume performances, folk games, culinary arts and sport competitions, will be held during the three-day event.

The art troupes will entertain the locals with a series of separate shows in several districts of Dong Nai province.
