Thousands of Hanoians converged on Dong Da hill on February 21 to attend a ceremony marking the 218th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi-Dong Da military victory and commemorating King Quang Trung who defeated 290,000 Qing invaders.

Procession groups from Hanoi’s Quang Trung and Trung Liet wards and Quang Ninh province offered incense to King Quang Trung at his monument in Hanoi.

Following were several photos taken by VOVNews reporter Manh Hung at the ceremony.
