The Ho Chi Minh City museum opened an exhibition on “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa-Vietnam’s seas and islands” on September 1 to celebrate National Day (September 2) and the 40th anniversary of the implementation of Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.
The exhibition displays 150 historical and geological pictures, documents and other items related to Truong Sa (Paracel) and Hoang Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
The items are divided into three categories: Vietnam’s sovereignty over the islands, activities to defend this sovereignty, and documents showing people’s affection for the two archipelagos.
The event is a chance to teach younger generation to be proud of Vietnam’s revolutionary tradition and protect its sovereignty over the archipelagos.
