A fine art exhibition on Buddhist Culture has opened in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 2,554th anniversary of Buddha’s birth (in the Buddhist Calendar).
On the display are 50 works of art, including lacquer paintings, water-colours and sculptures made by famous artists such as Trinh Thanh Tung, Tran Chau, Tran Van Hai, Le Trieu Dien, Hong Linh, Huynh Phuoc, Giang Phong and Phuong Hong.
The exhibition, co-organised by Ho Chi Minh City’s Buddhist Sangha and the city’s Fine Art Association, will run from May 20-26.
