More than 100 photos were displayed at an exhibition in Hanoi on November 17 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18).

The exhibition reflected the glorious tradition and achievements recorded by the Vietnam National United Front over its 80-year history including the struggles for independence, freedom and national construction.

The event also introduced contributions by the HCM City’s Fatherland Front in the Doi Moi (Renewal) process as well as in the country’s modernisation and industrialisation process.

The exhibition also aimed to honour outstanding people in the patriotic emulations and the campaigns to build healthy life in residential areas and raise funds for the poor.

Truong Ngoc Luong, a resident in district 5, HCM City said he was very proud the HCM City’s Fatherland Front has made contributions in the new period and stressed the important role of the front in the country’s and city’s economic development.
